Soundize™ Audio Branding has received the Winner award in the Audio Branding category at the International Sound Awards 2026 - the agency's first international award. The international jury recognised „Sonic Gateway" - the original sonic identity system Soundize™ designed for eBilet, a brand owned by Allegro Group.
This is one of those projects where audio branding begins in a place nobody usually thinks to look. Instead of designing yet another sound to close out an advert, the Soundize™ team focused on the moment a person actually meets the brand - the instant a ticket is scanned at the entrance to a concert, festival, show or sports event.
That is how Sonic Gateway was born: a sonic gateway to the world of live events.
Sonic Gateway - a sonic gateway to the world of events
The starting point of the project was redesigning the sound of the eBilet scanner and giving it meaning beyond a simple confirmation signal. Soundize™ developed a distinctive three-note motif inspired by the rhythm of the syllables "e-Bi-let", then built a wider sonic identity system around it.
Strategy, creative concept, composition and the design of the entire audio branding system were led by Rafał Konieczny, founder of Soundize™ Audio Branding, working alongside music producer Maks Klimek.
A key part of the project was its functionality. The scanner sound had to stay recognisable in an environment full of conversations, music, organisers' announcements and thousands of other stimuli at once. That is why Sonic Gateway was built around the way human hearing picks out distinctive signals in a noisy environment - a mechanism of perception we describe in more depth in the full eBilet case study.
The system does not stop at the scanner. Its sonic language can be extended to further brand touchpoints - from the app and advertising to social media, podcasts and eBilet's future music formats. A single sound becomes part of a larger, coherent sonic identity for the brand.
Audio branding as experience design
For Soundize™ Audio Branding, Sonic Gateway is an example of a wider approach to audio branding. A brand's sound doesn't have to be just a short audio logo used in advertising - it can function as part of a product, a service, a space and the audience's everyday experience.
For eBilet, the natural place for it turned out to be the moment of transition - from the digital world of buying a ticket to the physical world of the event itself. A few seconds before entry became one of the brand's most distinctive touchpoints.
Soundize™ Audio Branding has spent years designing complete sound systems for brands operating in Poland and abroad - from eBilet, to Virgin Mobile, to XTB and Brand24. International Sound Awards 2026 confirms that this strategic, complete approach to brand sound - rather than a single spot or jingle - is the direction audio branding is heading today.
What are the International Sound Awards?
The International Sound Awards are an international competition dedicated to sound design and the use of music in brand communication. The Winner Award in the Audio Branding category confirms, for Soundize™, the quality of both the eBilet project itself and the agency's strategic, complete approach to designing sound for brands.
Sonic Gateway shows that sonic identity can be designed exactly where the audience actually meets the brand - in the physical world too. It is in touchpoints like this that Soundize™ sees the greatest potential of audio branding today.
